Neal:
Everything we do is based on - you know, inspired by true
stories. So, I think a lot of people are going to be very scared
when they see some of these episodes.
Boomtown's Neal Mcdonough and The
Practice's Kelli Williams head a mobile
medical team tackling strange epidemics in NBC's new pulse-pounding
drama, Medical Investigation.
On the series' debut, next Thursday, the medical
staff investigates why patients are mysteriously turning into "blue
people".

When we were on the set, Williams was running after a
dozen rash-covered kids.
Kelli: We got a lot of diseases out there and,
hopefully, we won't get them.
But, after hanging out with these two docs, we learned
that laughter is, indeed, the best medicine.
(They show Kelli hitting Neal with a rolled-up script while filming a
scene. And then, the two of them holding signs which say "I'm
with stupid" with arrows pointing to each other.)

Kelli: We never smile. We never have
any fun.
(There's a sound behind her. She turns to see Neal in a
wheelchair, blowing up a
latex glove. They both laugh and he wheels away.)
Kelli: Yeah, I've got a troublemaker as a
co-star.
