stars as Dr.
Driscoll Rampart - young, handsome, and a little conceited. He is
sure
that his stay on planet Rustia will be very short. His internship on
the planet he calls “the armpit of the universe” is a mistake that his
well-connected father on Earth will surely be able to fix...
One half of
the planet Rustia receives perpetual daylight--the Lightside--and on
the other half, the Darkside, it is always in night. The peaceful
Lightsiders live like simple frontiersmen of the old American West. The
violent Darksiders wear armor and live in Gothic-style castles.
Driscoll arrives just as a peace treaty is to be signed
between the two
Rustian peoples.
